An effort to feed the homeless in downtown Houston has been killed again…
This is after Houston City Councilman Michael Kubosh collected 34,000 signatures to challenge the current city ordinance in an election that would’ve been slated for 2015.
It bans Houstonians from giving food to more than five people without city approval.
The signatures collected by Kubosh came up about short according to the City Secretary’s office.
Needless to say Councilman Kubosh is hot and says his effort to make it legal to feed the homeless without a permit is not over just yet.
