The attorney representing Grammy nominated gospel singer James Fortune has asked the courts to allow him to see his children while a criminal case and CPS investigation are underway.
Two weeks ago Fortune was arrested after allegations he assaulted his wife Cheryl Fortune.
As part of his bond conditions Fortune could not have any contact with his wife Cheryl and their four children.
Now Fortune’s attorney Dorian Cotlar has filed a motion to allow Fortune to have supervised visits with his children.
This is while Cotlar says the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is also investigating singer and his children to determine if they have been harmed.
Fortune is set to be in court on November 19th.
