Roman Forest Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a pair of young males who were caught on home security video as they
committed a burglary around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, November 11.
The burglars targeted a Roman Forest residence where they burglarized a vehicle parked next to the garage before entering an adjacent storage room and removing a firearm (a rifle) in a black case.
The video security system is designed to capture images in light or dark conditions. Because it was dark at the time of the burglary, the colors are obscured. However, some facial features are clearly visible at times along with the burglars’ body structure and movement. Roman Forest Police Chief feels certain the
suspects would be easily recognizable to people who know them. “Vehicle Burglaries are common in the area, but most can be prevented by simply locking the vehicle,” Chief Stephen Carlisle said.
“This residence was equipped with an alarm and security system that gathered valuable information for investigators, but it is still important to secure valuables.”
“I will not tolerate the violation of the personal space of the citizens of Roman Forest, and will use every
resource available to catch those who victimize our residents,” he said.
“I’m asking everyone to view the security video and share it on social media if possible, in the hopes that these young men will be quickly
identified and stopped be fore someone else becomes a victim.”
Anyone with information regarding the identities of the burglars is asked to contact
Chief Stephen Carlisle at 281-399-8182 ext. 105, or by email at Carlisle@RomanForestPD.com. Your identity will remain anonymous.
