Press Release: Hogg Life: Still Surviving follows Slim through the early 2000’s when he used his southern draw and charismatic star power to thrust the culture of Houston hip-hop past the confines of Texas, into the mainstream on a global scale. Slim Thug‘s larger than life appeal broke barriers winning him a MTV VMA for his work with Beyoncé on the hit single “Check On It”. Volume 2 of this docu-series includes never before seen footage of Slim‘s work with super producers Pharrell and Dr. Dre, and a behind the scenes look at the creation of his first major label album “Already Platinum”.

Narrated by the “boss of all bosses” himself, Hogg Life: Still Surviving features commentary from Pharrell Williams, Paul Wall, Jazze Pha, Killa Kyleon, radio personality Madd Hatta, and DJ Michael “5000” Watts. The visual is accompanied by an album with all new music produced by legendary producer Mr. Lee.
