The Factor has learned the Waller County Sheriff is trying to put some space between demonstrators and his jail.
Officials with the county lockup confirm they are now building a buffer zone around the jail.
The facility has been the subject of protests and vigils since Sandra Bland died in the jail on July 13th.
Captain Brian Cantrell confirms the barrier but did not release any further details.
This comes just days after a group of protesters were forced out of the lobby of the jail Sunday.
The Sheriff released a statement on the issue saying for of his Deputies were injured and no one was arrested.
