New on Fox Chief Larry Johnson of the Prairie View Police Department has released the body camera video involving the arrest of City Councilman Jonathan Miller.

Miller’s arrest went viral after he was seen being tased on video by one of two police officers Thursday night in the small college town.

Miller maintains the officers used excessive force when he questioned them why the they asked his fraternity brothers for their identification during a stop at his Hargest Drive home this week.

Miller was jailed overnight after being charged with interfering with police and resisting arrest.

The 26 year old, who’s also a Waller County teacher, was released on his own recognizance Friday morning.

The police body camera video was released early Saturday morning by the police department.

I watched the entire 31 min video. The situation was not handled professionally by the officers. After Mr. Miller moved back he then remained silent, that was not enough for the officer. The situation was handled poorly, the female officer had a problem with Mr. Miller asking a simple question, we have to do better as law enforcement. Why are we called brother and the white man sir? Just asking.

Yes. That irritated me also – the white cop calling him brother. That’s not his name nor is it professional. Does anyone know how many feet away you have to be when observing a police scene?

It seemed that the female officer had an attitude to begin with. And the other officer seem as though he just continued to find a reason. after he stepped away he was no longer interfering, I mean how far did he has to be stepped back as long as he wasn’t saying anything. just my thought..

Both officers are the cause of this incident. Not Mr. Miller. He stepped back and he was quiet what more could they asked for. This is supposed to be community policing at a university. Not warfare, if you don’t do what I told you to do then I’m going to taser you. Not fair at all the police officers need to be trained, and fired for making a big mistake like this. How much does the community need to take before they wake up.

For a job that pays nothing as a city Council member of Prairie view, Mr. Miller got no respectful, no respect at all, He and others City council members just gave The police offices a raise. (Thanks Mr. Miller ) for the pay raise. Lol
