WHICH STORES ARE REPEATING THE SAME OLD BLACK FRIDAY DEALS?

We’ve all seen the ads from retailers claiming the best Black Friday deals. But which ones are truly unique, and which ones were rehashed from 2014? With 81 percent of American consumers saying that Black Friday deals are not improving from previous years, the personal finance website WalletHub today released its 2015 Black Friday Freshness Report.

For those consumers hunting for the freshest bargains, WalletHub compared America’s favorite retailers based on the proportion of deals they repeated this year and the difference in prices for those offers from Black Friday 2014.

Overall, WalletHub found that 11 percent of all deals are recycled in 2015. Among the retailers, Big Lots has the most repeated deals, totaling 16.4 percent of its current offers, whereas Staples has the least, at 5.1 percent.
