The reward for Benjamin Dominguez, 49, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and this month’s featured fugitive, has increased to $15,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip comes in during the month of January. The Barrio Azteca gang member has an extensive criminal past and is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and parole violation. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
Dominguez is believed to be a transient, and he has lived in El Paso; Socorro, Texas; Las Cruces, N.M.; and Modesto, Calif. His criminal history includes indecency with a child, assault causing bodily injury and burglary. Dominguez was previously featured by the U.S. Marshals Service during Operation Guardian, a national initiative that targeted the country’s most dangerous noncompliant sex offenders. For more information or updates in the event of his arrest, please see his wanted bulletin at:
Dominguez is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He has been known to use several aliases, and he has numerous tattoos on his arms, left wrist and neck.
One offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured each month in hopes the higher reward money from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips. The higher reward amount will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured. All calls, texts, emails and Facebook tip messages are anonymous.
To be eligible for the cash rewards, there are five different ways to provide anonymous tips:
