It was back in August when former Waller County Judge and now activist Dewayne Charleston staged a protest in the lobby of the Waller County Sheriff’s office.

Charleston wanted to be arrested while protesting the death of Sandra Bland back on July 13, 2015.

The activist says he wanted to send a message that he should be jailed for his defiance but Bland shouldn’t have been arrested by a state trooper who pulled her over for a traffic violation.

Bland was later found dead in her jail cell and it was ruled a suicide by the medical examiner.

Meanwhile, Charleston entered a guilty plea and agreed to serve 12 days in the Waller County jail beginning today.

He spoke with the Factor by phone and he says his time behind bars is to show the world Sandy still speaks!

Charleston is a former judge for a reason…he accepted bribes and served time in prison.

Sandy violated the law but could have avoided jail if she just took the warning from offficer who leagally pulled her over but SHE wanted to be an activist too so she was defiant, she got arrested and then she killed herself in jail when no one would cough up bail money-not even her family because the family knew she didn’t take care of business with all her outstanding fines for previous bad choice behavior.
DeWayne only came after Hannah staged a protest and tried to hijack it for his 15 minutes of fame. He pushed a violent protest instead of peaceful one and violated the law. He is not in jail for Sandy, he is in jail because he behaved badly. Don’t pin that behavior on Sandy. Not her fault he is an idiot.

Idiot is too nice of a word. He’s caused more chaos in Waller County. I think he needs help for mental issues and I hope he gets it. Leave our county alone.
