Montgomery County prosecutors say they will now plan for a trial in the case againt Patrick English.
The Houston area resident is accused of bank jugging.
Investigators say that’s when you follow someone to a bank and strike after they’ve made a withdrawal.
English is accused of committing that crime last year in Montgomery County.
He was expected to enter a guilty plea in court Thursday morning but he and his attorney rejected an offer of 7 years in prison from assistant District Attorney Rob Freyer.

Many of us pay little if any attention to what’s happening around us even if we’re getting large amounts of money out of a bank.
Montgomery County investigators say while we may not be paying attention criminals like Patrick English and Henry Wilson are.
They’re wanted for a jugging case in Montgomery County which started at a Chase babk near the woodlands.
In this case the victim withdrew 13 thousand dollars from the bank and made a stop here at a Chick-Fil-A near The Woodlands…
Investigators say that’s when English, who has been arrested, and Wilson struck.
They stole the cash out of the victim’s truck. Wilson remains on the loose.
Prosecutors say English and Wilson have carved a path of crime through Texas with others as part of the Market Street Money Gang.
Investigators say their only angle isn’t just jugging.
With jugging making its way to Montgomery County investigators warn people with large amounts of cash to be mindful of your surroundings.
