LOOKING FOR THE MAN WHO ROBBED THE EXTENDED STAY IN SPRING!

On Saturday, May 7, 2016, at approximately 10:00 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County
Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to a robbery that had occurred at a business,
Extended Stay America, in the 150 block of Valleywood Road, in Spring, Texas.

Upon deputies arrival, it was reported that a male entered the location, brandished a knife and
demanded money from the sales clerk. The clerk complied with the actor’s demands, giving him
an undetermined amount of money from the cash drawer of the register. Reportedly, the actor
then fled the location in an unknown direction. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office units
responded to the location but were unable to locate the actor.
Descriptions of the suspect was a black male, wearing black sweatshirt, black jeans, gloves, and
a bandana covering his face.

It was discovered that a male was arrested committing a robbery in Webster, Texas,
approximately one and a half hours later, at an Extended Stay America. The suspect arrested in
that reported robbery fit the motive of operation and description of the suspect in the robbery
reported here in Montgomery County.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crime Detectives investigating the robbery here in
Montgomery County has since identified the suspect mentioned above that was arrested in
Webster, Texas, as the subject who committed the robbery here in Montgomery County. A
warrant for the robbery will be issued for the suspect, Christopher Brown, (date of birth
04/03/1995), who is currently in custody at the Harris County Jail.
