Update: Dore has been released and is set for a hearing in court on 11/14/2016 in the 263rd in Judge Jim Wallace’s court at 9 am.
It was suppose to be a peaceful anti-Trump rally in Houston Thursday night but for some things turned ugly.
Sources say high profile Houston Black Lives Matter activist Sheree Dore was arrested along with four other protesters.
Our source says Dore was arrested and charged after punching a police horse in the face during the protest.
Ashton P. Woods, who’s also a part of the Houston Black Lives Matter group, confirms this morning Dore was arrested but says he did not see her hit the horse.
Dore along with the other protesters remain behind bars at the HPD jail on Mykawa.
Update: Woods says 2 of the five protesters have been released from jail while Dore and two others remain behind bars as of 6:50 pm Friday night.
