Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the shooting of a woman found at 10039 Bissonnet about 3 a.m. on February 3.

The suspects, Rahari Randell (b/m, 18), and Desmond Ray Williams (b/m, 17), are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 232nd State District Court.  Both are accused in the shooting and wounding of April Lindsey, 24, of Houston, who remains in critical condition at Ben Taub General Hospital.

Photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants K. Daignault, C. Cegielski, J. Brooks and Officer J. Dodson reported:

Ms. Lindsey was found on the sidewalk near the above address. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported her to the hospital.

At that time, there were no known witnesses nor suspects.

Further investigation identified Williams and Randell as suspects in this case.  Both were arrested last Friday (February 3) without incident.
