DID CRAIG WASHINGTON GET OFF EASY?
THE VICTIMS SPEAK ABOUT THE INCIDENT!

A former Houston congressman has worked out a deal with prosecutors to avoid going to trial on a charge alleging he fired a gun at two teens in a car.
Craig Washington agreed to something similar to probation that would result in the aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge being dropped later if he meets conditions set by the court.
The agreement came just as jury selection in Washington’s trial was to begin on Monday.
Washington was accused of firing into a car on Jan. 1, 2008 after a confrontation outside his downtown law office with two teens in the vehicle.
Washington said he fired his weapon in self-defense fearing the teens were going to run him over.
The court says as long as the former congressman avoids trouble for the next two years, he will not have to face charges.
One of the teeangers Washington shot at, Taylor Brooks, says he doesn’t feel two years of probation is acceptable!
EVERYONE WILL HAVE TO PROVE THEY DIDN’T DO IT!
FOX 26 and the Insite have learned that every employee at Houston Fire Department Fire Station 54 will be asked to take a polygraph test. Station 54 became the center of the controversy after two female firefighters found sexist and racist graffiti on the walls of their dorms. FOX 26 and The Insite were the first to report the alleged incident. Joseph Ahmad, the attorney representing Jane Draycott and Paula Keyes also confirmed the two women underwent a voluntary city polygraph test on Monday. Ahmad says he has a portion of the results but he would not release the information to FOX. This is in addition to the polygraph testing done last week by an independent examiner. Last week Ahmad said Draycott passed the private test with flying colors.
