MAN FOUND DEAD IN PARKING LOT AFTER SITTING THERE MORE THAN A WEEK!

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 2490 South Wayside Drive about 10:10 a.m. on Sunday (October 4).

The identity and cause of death of the man, believed to be in his 60s, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder reported:

The victim was found deceased inside a vehicle at the gas station parking lot at the above address.  The vehicle was observed to park at the location about 3 p.m. on September 23.  It remained there until the victim was discovered the morning of October 4.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
