TRUMP SUPPORTERS ALLEGEDLY TOLD TO BE ON STANDBY!

The Washington Post’s Josh Dawsey reports: Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien urged supporters to be ready to attend protests or rallies that the campaign is “propping up around the country” in a call Saturday with allies and surrogates, according to audio obtained by The Washington Post. “Stay at the ready,” Stepien said. “At a moment’s instance, we may need your help at protests in your states, to make sure the president is represented and our side of the argument is shown. Support rallies or other things that we are propping up around the country.”

“Rallies to show support for the president are also things we are encouraging around the country,” he added. Stepien took a pugilistic tone — saying the president was prepared to keep battling, even as the race is called for Biden. “Just be at the ready at a moment’s notice. We may need your help and support on the ground, waving the flag and yelling the president’s name in support,” Stepien said. He encouraged donors to give to the legal defense fund for the president and to distribute a campaign hotline for potential fraud cases so they could have evidence in various states.

Deputy campaign manager Justin Clark went through various states and tried to argue, without evidence, that they could win states such as Georgia and that there were “serious irregularities” in Wisconsin. He also complained falsely that their ballot watchers could not get in to see ballots being counted in Pennsylvania. Poll watchers were allowed in Pennsylvania to observe the ballot-counting process from a designated distance. Stepien promised to talk to the allies again on Sunday.

JOE BIDEN ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrat Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump to become the 46th president of the United States on Saturday and offered himself to the nation as a leader who “seeks not to divide, but to unify” a country gripped by a historic pandemic and a confluence of economic and social turmoil.

“I sought this office to restore the soul of America,” Biden said in a prime-time victory speech not far from his Delaware home, “and to make America respected around the world again and to unite us here at home.”

Biden crossed the winning threshold of 270 Electoral College votes with a win in Pennsylvania. His victory came after more than three days of uncertainty as election officials sorted through a surge of mail-in votes that delayed processing.

Trump refused to concede, threatening further legal action on ballot counting. But Biden used his acceptance speech as an olive branch to those who did not vote for him, telling Trump voters that he understood their disappointment but adding, “Let’s give each other a chance.”

“It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric, to lower the temperature, to see each other again, to listen to each other again, to make progress, we must stop treating our opponents as our enemy,” he said. “We are not enemies. We are Americans.”

Biden, 77, staked his candidacy less on any distinctive political ideology than on galvanizing a broad coalition of voters around the notion that Trump posed an existential threat to American democracy. The strategy, as well as an appeal to Americans fatigued by Trump’s disruptions and wanting a return to a more traditional presidency, proved effective and resulted in pivotal victories in Michigan and Wisconsin as well as Pennsylvania, onetime Democratic bastions that had flipped to Trump in 2016.

Biden’s victory was a repudiation of Trump’s divisive leadership and the president-elect now inherits a deeply polarized nation grappling with foundational questions of racial justice and economic fairness while in the grips of a virus that has killed more than 236,000 Americans and reshaped the norms of everyday life.

Kamala Harris made history as the first Black woman to become vice president, an achievement that comes as the U.S. faces a reckoning on racial justice. The California senator, who is also the first person of South Asian descent elected to the vice presidency, will become the highest-ranking woman ever to serve in government, four years after Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.

TMZ: TRUMP SUPPORTERS TRY TO STOP MAIL-IN BALLOT COUNT IN DETROIT!

See video of protest below!

A group of Donald Trump supporters are up in arms about the mail-in ballot counting process in Detroit … and they’re trying like hell to disrupt it.

A frenzy’s been whipped up by several Republican vote challengers at the TCF Convention Center, where workers are trying to tally thousands of absentee votes for Detroiters while having to deal with the madness.

Cops are keeping many of the aggressive challengers at bay due to the counting area being at capacity, but that’s not stopping them from banging on the windows and chanting, “STOP THE COUNT! STOP THE COUNT!”

The pro-Trump challengers are apparently claiming they are being kept out, but Democratic challengers are as well. Under the state’s election rules … each group is allowed to have 134 challenges.

MAN IN KKK SHEETS WINS CONTEST… He and Bar Apologize!

A guy in Montana thought it’d be a great idea to war a Ku Klux Klan outfit for Halloween — and, apparently, so did the people at the bar who voted him as having the best costume.

This happened in Glasgow, MT Saturday night, where witnesses say this guy was bar hopping around town and stopped at a joint called Sam & Jeff’s. Patrons there loved his homage to hatred and awarded him the grand prize for the bar’s costume contest.

Lots of people took photos of him, naturally and it’s stirred outrage in the community. Many people are calling out Sam & Jeff’s, and another bar, Dink’s, which allowed him to wear the KKK getup.

The backlash had an impact. The man under the hood has identified himself as Luke Morehouse, and he apologized on Facebook … as did the owner of Sam & Jeff’s.

The bar owner, Sam Knodel, says he’s deeply sorry for the “distasteful and offensive actions” that went down at his place of business. He adds that although Halloween’s full of offensive costumes, this one crossed the line … and should not have infiltrated the bar on their watch.

As for the contest, Knodel explains that the bar flies were the ones who deemed him the winner … and that in no way reflects the views of himself or his partners.

Morehouse also apologized — albeit somewhat in an ass-backward way. He admits his costume was offensive and disgusting, and didn’t think of the repercussions. While saying sorry to those he offended, he also says in the same breath, “What started as an innocent costume escalated and there are no excuses for it and I can not take that back.”

Not so sure about the “innocent” part, but there ya have it.

A RENTAL BLESSING FROM A CITY LEADER!

Elaine Canizales with Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz

A big shout out and thank you to Houston City Councilmember Dr. Carolyn Evans Shabazz.

It was just last week when Elaine Canizales, a single mother, reached out to me on Tuesday saying she was evicted. Canizales said she and her family would soon be on the streets. I felt bad and had no idea what to tell her.

But #LookAtGod… The very next day Pastor James Nash called me and said Dr. Shabazz was looking to help someone who lives in her district who may need rental assistance. It just so happens Elaine lives in Dr. Shabazz’s city council district. I got them together and as of this morning Elaine’s back rent has been paid along with next month by Bishop James Dixon.

I’m so glad things worked out.  Unfortunately, those were the only funds available and I know thousands of others need help.  But for now at least this family isn’t on the streets. #WontHeDoIt

(This is the photo from last weekend when Canizales was presented a check by Dr. Shabazz)
